Tennis Elbow

Lateral Epicondylitis more commonly known as Tennis Elbow is a condition caused by overuse of the arm, forearm, and hand muscles which results in elbow pain. Tennis Elbow is caused by injury to the muscle or tendon area around the outside of the elbow. Less than 5% of all tennis elbow diagnoses are related to actually playing tennis. Any type of repetitive activity whether leisure or work related can result in tennis elbow.

The Epicondylitis clasp needs to be fitted correctly to be effective. The clasp applies pressure to the pressure point over the muscle or just below the point of pain on the elbow. This clasp also changes the angle at which the tendon works changing the direction of forces and relieving pain caused by the condition.
